There’s been a lot of debate on if a Product Manager needs to have prior technical knowledge before they can do their job effectively.

The truth is simple, as a Product Manager you will be working hand in hand with the development team and it’s important to at least have a basic understanding of the things happening within your team.

You don’t have to be an expert at it, just take out time to learn the basics in order to communicate effectively with the team.
